Kris Humphries' lawyer says no grounds for annulment from Kim Kardashian - report
Kris Humphries continues to try to get his marriage to Kim Kardashian annulled, citing fraudulent circumstances. But according to TMZ, not even his soon-to-be former lawyer thinks he has a case. Reportedly, Humphries' California lawyer Marshall Waller has made it clear to the NBA player that there are no legal grounds to annul his marriage to Kardashian because there is no evidence of fraud.
Since they have reached a stalemate, because Kris' other attorney, Lee Hutton, won't budget off the annulment, Waller is filing documents to have him removed from the case. In his motion to be relieved as counsel, he has reportedly cited "irreconcilable differences."
The lawyers are going to court Friday (Feb. 15), with Kardashian's lawyer Laura Wasser reportedly asking for a trial date as early as next month. Remember, this is all for a marriage that lasted 72 days and ended nearly a year-and-a-half ago.
