Kathie Lee and Hoda booze up after one month of on-air sobriety - Cheers!

For Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, booze is part of their shtick. The two "Today" hosts are known for having a cocktail or four while they're on the air, but the pair was asked by Ladies Home Journal to have a month of sobriety in January in an effort to promote heart health.

They did, and that month is finally at an end. To celebrate, Gifford and Kotb celebrated with a "booze-a-palooza" -- and some enormous bottles of Colby Red.

"All the profits go to heart health!" Gifford reminded their viewers, causing Kotb to quip, "Don't try to make it legit."

The women's "Today" co-hosts, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker, joked that the women were insufferable during their month away from the bottle. "The makeup room was hell," Lauer said. "I've never seen crankier, moodier women in my entire life."

Of course, it helped that they only had to remain sober on air. Guthrie pointed out, "What helped them was that that they continued to drink. Behind the set, and during commercials. I think the fact that they didn't stay sober during their month of sobriety really eased the tension around here."
