Hugh Jackman rumors about being gay starting to bug his wife

Though it's been a rumor for a very long time, Hugh Jackman is here to say he's not gay. He's making a point of saying it now, because it's starting to bother his wife of over 16 years, Deborra-Lee Furness.

In an interview with THR, Jackman opens up, saying, "Just recently, it bugs her." He explains that the internet plays a token role, as his wife frequents the online world more than he does. "She goes: 'It's big. It's everywhere,'" he says.

He's got backup, too. "X-Men" producer Lauren Schuler Donner says, "I have seen him with Deborra since the beginning of their trip to Hollywood, and I've been on five movie sets with him and have never seen him stray, have never seen him eye anyone."

Jackman has been a favorite among gay audiences for years, most recently for his role in "Les Misérables," for which he's nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.
