Fall Out Boy releases new single to promote 'Save Rock and Roll' album and tour
Did you miss Fall Out Boy? Of course you did, everyone loves them! It's been just over three years since their last original album, 2008's "Folie รก Deux," but the emo-light band is back with new music!
A video has been released for their new single, with the ridiculously long title "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)." Rolling Stone says the song is from the band's new album, "Save Rock and Roll," due May 7. It's unclear what rock and roll needs to be saved from, or why Fall Out Boy should be the band to do it, but that's their plan.
The members of the band have been working on solo projects since taking a break. The most notorious project was bass player Pete Wentz's marriage to Ashlee Simpson, which didn't quite work out.
The reunited Fall Out Boy will be taking their show on the road, once the new album releases, touring through the summer.
