'Downton Abbey's' Dan Stevens to co-star with Liam Neeson in 'A Walk Among the Tombstones'

While U.S. viewers anticipate the Season 3 finale of "Downton Abbey," series star Dan Stevens is in line to co-star with Liam Neeson in the movie "A Walk Among the Tombstones."

The thriller is about a former cop turned P.I. (Neeson) hired by a drug dealer to find his kidnapped wife. Variety reports that Stevens is in talks for an unspecified supporting role. Scott Frank ("The Lookout") is directing and adapting the screenplay from a book by Lawrence Block.

It's already been confirmed that Stevens won't be returning for Season 4, but his decision to exit the popular show still has some fans reeling.

Stevens recently starred opposite Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain in a Broadway production of "The Heiress" and is currently shooting the WikiLeaks drama "The Fifth Estate" featuring fellow U.K. star Benedict Cumberbatch as Julian Assange.
