Demi Lovato's new song 'Heart Attack' previews 'celebration of life' on upcoming album

There's still no official word on whether or not Demi Lovato will be back for Season 3 of "The X Factor" but we do know her new single, "Heart Attack," will be released March 4.

Lovato is giving her fans -- lovingly dubbed Lovatics -- a preview of the song, along with some general thoughts about the new album due this year, in the brief video clip below released on her website and on YouTube.

"For awhile, I could tell that when people would talk to me, they knew my story," Lovato says in the clip.

"I think I've opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve and I started to grow. These are songs about the celebration of life and how rewarding it can be. This is what this album is about."
