Chris Brown: Frank Ocean says he wants 'peace,' won't press charges

Whatever happened to spark a fight between singers Chris Brown and Frank Ocean in a parking lot a week ago, Ocean is ready to let it go.

Following the incident, Ocean and Brown gave conflicting, he said-he said accounts of who started the fight. Police are investigating, and Brown has said he wants to talk to the cops and give his side.

Ocean, writing on his Tumblr Saturday (Feb. 2), says he wants to put the incident behind him. His full statement:

"As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I'm an artist and a modern person. I'll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."
