Bobby Brown: Third DUI gets singer 55 days in jail - report

Bobby Brown is headed to jail for a little bit. The New Edition singer has been sentenced to 55 days after pleading no contest to a DUI charge, stemming from an arrest back in October, TMZ reports. At the time of the arrest, Brown was driving on a suspended license, following another DUI conviction.
Brown has been ordered to turn himself in to jail officials by March 20, on the stipulation that he attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings a week until then. This marks the third time Brown has been convicted of DUI, his first charge in 1996
Brown was also arrested in 2003 for misdemeanor battery, after allegedly striking his wife, the late Whitney Houston. The couple's divorce was finalized in 2007, ending their 14-year marriage. Brown remarried in 2012, after Houston's death.
