3 killed in reality show helicopter crash

3-killed-in-reality-show-crash.jpgThree people are dead after a helicopter crash early Sunday morning (Feb. 10) in Acton, Calif., according to Reuters. The three men, whose names have not been released yet, were working on a reality television show.

County firefighters tell City News Service that the three occupants of the helicopter were pronounced dead at the scene. The copter went down at around 3:30 a.m. local time on a ranch. The ranch has two airstrips that are often used as a filming location for TV, commercials and movies.

The company shooting is called Bongo Productions, but there is no word yet as to which show the company was filming at the time of the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.
