Singer Chely Wright expecting twins with wife Lauren Blitzer-Wright

Country singer Chely Wright, who made headlines back in May 2010 when she came out of the closet, has a big announcement -- she and her wife Lauren Blitzer-Wright, a Sony music executive, are expecting identical twins.

The couple made the announcement during an episode of Gwissues with Howard Bragman (video below).

"We're excited to be parents and we hope we don't mess it up too badly! But we can do it." says Wright. "We're anticipating I'll be as big as a bus or an A-frame house by around June."

The twins are due in July but "with identical twins they typically have to be delivered a month early," Wright adds.

Wright and Blitzer-Wright have been together since just two weeks after Wright came out. They were married in August 2011 in Connecticut.

"We feel like God blessed us with twins. We feel our entire relationship has been blessed. We feel lucky and ready to take on the challenges," says Wright.
