Rosie O'Donnell daughter: Rosie and Michelle Rounds welcome baby Dakota

Rosie O'Donnell announced the birth of her daughter with wife Michelle Rounds on her Twitter account Wednesday. "We r thrilled to announce the arrival of r daughter Dakota," she tweeted, along with a picture of the happy couple and their newborn.

According to People, baby Dakota was born January 5 and weighs 5 lbs., 5 oz. O'Donnell and Rounds adopted the baby. "Moms and baby are happy and healthy," O'Donnell's rep says. Dakota is O'Donnell's fifth child, four of them with her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter.

O'Donnell and Rounds were married last June in a private ceremony, before Rounds had surgery to remove  rare desmoid tumors. That August O'Donnell announced that she had suffered a heart attack but was focused on getting healthy.
