Ronaiah Tuiasosopo gives first interview to Dr. Phil - report

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo's lawyer said his client wanted to tell his side of the story and now it appears he may have that opportunity. TMZ is reporting that Tuiasosopo spoke with Dr. Phil McGraw for several hours Thursday, discussing Manti Te'o's interview with Katie Couric.

Prior to taping "Dr. Phil," the two watched the entire interview together. A source said the "emotional and deep" interview between Tuiasosopo and McGraw will air next week.

Tuiasosopo hasn't made any public statements since being accused of scamming Te'o, and possibly others, through the online identity of "Lennay Keuka." Te'o, and the woman whose pictures were used to create the persona, claim that he has confessed to them privately that he masterminded the hoax.
