People's Choice Awards: Ashley Rickards ditches the blonde for 'Awkward' Season 3

Ashley Rickards from "Awkward" shocked us at the MTV Video Music Awards with a platinum blonde hairdo -- but her golden locks didn't last. The actress, who plays an uncomfortable, sarcastic teenager on MTV's surprise hit, has gone back to her usual dark hair color. She debuted the look at the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, where "Awkward" was nominated for Favorite TV Cable Comedy.

The show, which is up against "Psych," "Melissa and Joey," "Hot in Cleveland," and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," is gearing up for its third season. We'll see yet another love interest introduced for Jenna this year -- his name is Collin, and he's super cool, but totally taken.
