Paulina Gretzky: Wayne Gretzky's daughter scores mag cover and TV special

The Great One's daughter is trying to make a name for herself. Paulina Gretzky wants a career in music, but stepping out of her father, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky's, larger than life shadow is a daunting task.

To date most of the attention she's received hasn't been from her music, but rather from racy photos and status updates she has posted to Twitter.

The Toronto Star reports Paulina she's trying to change that perception. With a cover story in Canada's Flare magazine, Paulina is addressing her past online indiscretions. She claims that her hiatus form Twitter following the posting of some scandalous photos wasn't at her father's request as had been reported. She also admits some of the photos posted in the past were a mistake.

An accompanying TV special goes behind the scenes of the photo shoot for the magazine and features a longer interview with Gretzky. It airs Tuesday night in Canada on Citytv.
