Madonna face plant: Star has trouble skiing with family in Switzerland

Madonna might be the Queen of Pop, but she is still just a normal human like the rest of us. While she can rule the stage, Madonna was photographed taking a face plant while skiing in Switzerland with her 25-year-old boyfriend Brahim Zaibat.

The couple took Madge's two daughters -- Lourdes, 16, and Mercy, 6 -- on a skiing vacation in Gstaad, Switzerland on New Year's, and it ended up being the "Like A Virgin" singer who had the most trouble on the slopes. The New York Daily News has photos of Lourdes snowboarding gracefully down the mountain, while Madonna can be seen having difficulty standing and lying face down in snow. She was reportedly on the bunny slope.

Though there were some ungraceful photos in the bunch, there are still plenty that show the family having a blast together. Mercy can be seen with a look of glee on her face during her private lesson, while Brahim frequently took the time to help Madonna perfect her technique. Maybe her New Year's resolution was to be a better skier?
