Katherine Webb lands Super Bowl gig for 'Inside Edition'

If there was any question about the break-out star of the 2013 BCS National Championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame, that debate can come to a complete rest now.

Katherine Webb, girlfriend to Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron and Miss Alabama USA 2012, has parlayed her camera time and subsequent online attention to a gig covering the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 3.

She tweets, "So excited to be chosen to cover the Super Bowl XLVII for @InsideEdition in New Orleans!"

This is her first hosting-style gig, but Webb previously revealed she was being included in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, so she's well on her way to a lucrative career. She has also been offered a spot judging the 2013 Miss USA pageant from Donald Trump.

To Katherine's credit, at least in her "Today" interview, she seems like a really sweet, down-to-earth girl.
