Kate Upton's sexy Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl ad draws controversy

Were you a fan of Kate Upton's Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl commercial? Well, not everyone was. The Parents Television Council has piped up to claim that the ad reflects negatively on women.

"This ad [reinforces] for millions of wives, daughters and sisters across the country that you use your sex appeal to get what you want," a PTC spokesperson tells Daily Mail (via The Hollywood Reporter). "If anything, this ad proves that we've regressed rather than progressed over the last several years."

What do you think? Upton definitely plays up her sex appeal in the commercial, standing off to the side as football players washing the new Mercedes 2014 CLA-Class gaze on at her in wonder. She blows soap bubbles in their direction and tells them, "You missed a spot," but is this anything that we haven't seen in car ads before? That doesn't mean it's right, but do you think that the commercial is as bad as the PCA claims?
