Justin Timberlake announces 'I'm ready': New album on the way
Justin Timberlake has finally headed back into the recording studio. The pop star-turned-actor is ready to become a pop star yet again, and has announced in a new video that he's "ready" to make another album.
"It means more to me than anybody else in the world," Timberlake says. "Look, I've only done two albums in 10 years. That's the way I really look at it. What does the next decade mean for me?"
He continues, "I am the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it. ... I don't want to put anything out that I don't love. You just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it. I'm ready."
Timberlake's last album was 2006's "FutureSex/LoveSounds." There hasn't yet been an official album announcement or release date, but there is a ticker on Timberlake's website that is counting down to Jan. 14 at midnight E.T.
