Justin Bieber opens up about Selena Gomez breakup: 'I don't have any regrets'
"There's so many rumors," he tells Billboard. "People say I call Selena every day and she won't pick up the phone or I'm chasing her down, and these are all fake stories. I don't go on blogs or anything like that. I hear things. People tell me if something happens on the Internet. It gets back to me, definitely."
A song called "Nothing Like Us" is one of the big draws of Bieber's new album "Believe Acoustic," which comes out Jan. 29. The single is has been confirmed as Bieber's ode to Gomez now that the two have broken up.
"Because at the end of the day, there's nothing like us, you know? That's just it. It is what it is," he says of his first real breakup song. "People are going to relate to that."
Despite some controversial recent events including a paparazzi dying while trying to take pictures of him and a photo of him smoking pot hitting the internet, Bieber says he is only looking forward. That seems to include his relationships as well, it seems.
"I don't have any regrets," he says. "I live and I learn. My mom says, 'You got to learn the hard way, don't you?' That's me. I learn the hard way. But it's about how I pick myself up and be better and stronger."
