Former 'Hills' star engaged: Doug Reinhardt proposes to Allie Lutz

Congratulations are in order for Doug Reinhardt and his "high school sweetheart" Allie Lutz. She announced their engagement over Twitter by uploading a picture of him kissing her with an engagement ring on her finger to Instagram.

"Cat's out of the bag... ❤ #engaged #bestfriend #highschoolsweetheart @ anguilla," Lutz tweeted.

Reinhardt is best known to fans of "The Hills" as the Laguna Beach native who briefly dated Lauren Conrad in 2008. He also has dated celebrities like Amanda Bynes, Paris Hilton and former Miss USA Rima Fakih.

He and Lutz aren't the only former "Hills" stars engaged. Kristi Cavallari and Jay Cutler are also waiting to tie the knot.
