Ellen Page's alleged stalker ordered to stay away for three years
Ellen Page has earned a victory in court against someone making threats against her. TMZ is reporting that an alleged stalker, a man who threatened to kill the actress online, has been ordered to stay away from her. The Los Angeles Police began investigating Joshua Michael Myers in August 2012 for threats he made against Page on Twitter. The threats were along the lines of "I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead" and "Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander [Skarsgard] I will K-1-L-L you in public in the next year ... Be it in a club, at a game, in a restaurant, or when you're signing autographs."
Wednesday (Jan. 16) Myers was ordered to stay away from Ellen Page -- not to have any contact with her in any way for three years. Page was in court when the order was handed down.
