Buzz Aldrin divorced from third wife finally - Lois Driggs Cannon gets half his fortune

Remember how we reported in June 2011 that Buzz Aldrin divorced his third wife Lois Driggs Cannon? Well, that split only now has been finalized, and Cannon has come out on top.

TMZ reports that the former couple signed their divorce order on Dec. 28. It says that Cannon gets half of Aldrin's $475,000 bank account, as well as 50 percent of all of his profits from his businesses, trademarks and stocks. This likely explains why the divorce took over a year and a half to finalize.

In addition, Aldrin has agreed to pay Cannon spousal support. That means she's getting $9,500 a month plus 30 percent of his annual income, which is estimated at more than $600,000, TMZ reports. Oh, and she gets to keep her Mercedes. The couple tied the knot in February 1988 and was married for 23 years with no children. Aldrin and Cannon cited "irreconcilable differences" for their split.
