"We are extremely honored to have President Clinton accept this award for Father of the Year," says Dan Orwing, Chairman of the National Father's Day Committee. In 2009, President Clinton was named U.N. Special Envoy for Haiti to assist the Haitian people recover from a series of devastating hurricanes. In 2010, he organized Clinton Foundation resources to help with immediate and long term assistance following the deadly earthquake in Haiti.

The award will be presented at the 72nd annual Father of the Year Awards in New York City on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
