'Anchorman 2' burglary: Will Ferrell sequel set robbed of copper wire and computers

will-ferrell-anchorman-2-teaser.jpgAccording to the Atlanta Journal Constitution there's a burglar out there trying to ruin everyone's fun. Late last month a burglary was reported at a warehouse being used as a set for "Anchorman: The Legend Continues," the followup to the Will Ferrell 2004 comedy. That's not very classy.

According to police, thieves broke in and stripped the building of its copper wire while also snagging four computers, totaling over a quarter million dollars lost. The break-in is one of several recent incidents in the area that police are investigating.

A handwritten sign on the door of the warehouse promised a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the culprit. "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" is scheduled to be released on December 20.
