Amanda Righetti and Jordan Alan welcome son Knox

It's a boy for "Mentalist" star Amanda Righetti and her husband Jordan Alan. Son Knox Addison Alan was born Thursday, Jan. 10, a representative for the couple confirms to People.

Righetti and Alan married in April 2006 in Hawaii, then chose to wait several years to have children. They announced this pregnancy back in August, but chose not to reveal the baby's gender until he was born.

In addition to "The Mentalist," Righetti can be seen in the new "Friday the 13th" and "Captain America: the First Avenger." Alan is a producer/director/writer with credits like "Kiss & Tell," "Pipeline" and "Cats Dancing on Jupiter" to his credit.
