If she was still alive, Aaliyah would have been 34 today. The 22-year-old "One in a Million" singer died in an airplane crash in the Bahamas on August 25, 2001. She is gone but not forgotten, as judged by the outpouring of love for Aaliyah on Twitter.
Her name has been a trending topic on the social media site all day, with many sending the deceased R&B singer birthday wishes.
