2013 People's Choice Awards: Eddie Redmayne compares 'Les Miserables' to 'Twilight'

If you don't already know Eddie Redmayne's name, you soon will. The British star had a breakout performance in "Les Miserables," which is great for him because he is a huge fan of the musical.

"['Les Miserables'] has such a massive fanbase -- I am one of those fans," he admitted on the red carpet, comparing the tale to "Twilight" and "The Hunger Games." "Back in the day, 'Les Mis' was kind of one of those."

He should know about the comparison, too: Redmayne made a movie with Kristen Stewart called "The Yellow Handkerchief." Though he might not get the same sort of worldwide superstardom that she now has thanks to "Twilight," this still is a pretty big deal to him. "I will be lying to say it wasn't a terrifying experience," he said of "Les Miserables."
