2013 Miss America pageant: Meet the competitors

Here she is: Miss America ... and her 52 competitors.

They range in age from 18 to 24, and they bring a whole passel of talents. We've got tons of tap dancers, a variety of vocalists, plenty of pianists, a bevy of ballerinas, a tumbler, two twirlers, a comedic monologist, and one practitioner of the art of artistic roller skating. And the headshots bring to mind hopefuls for "The Bachelor," promo pics for newscasters, and a couple of women who seem to think they're auditioning for "America's Next Top Model."

Check out the women representing each of the 50 states -- plus Washington DC, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. One of them will be taking the tiara on January 12.
