Spike Lee will most likely be seeing "Les Miserables" when it hits theaters on Christmas, because he definitely isn't going to see "Django Unchained." The "Do The Right Thing" director claims that the new movie offers a "disrespectful" twist on the subject of slavery.

"I can't speak on it 'cause I'm not gonna see it," Lee tells Vibe Magazine of the new Quentin Tarantino film. "All I'm going to say is that it's disrespectful to my ancestors. That's just me... I'm not speaking on behalf of anybody else."

That's not the only time Lee has let his opinion of the movie be known. He also took to Twitter to call out the project for its tone.

"American Slavery Was Not A Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western. It Was A Holocaust. My Ancestors Are Slaves. Stolen From Africa. I Will Honor Them," he tweeted.

"Django Unchained" comes out on Christmas Day.
