Prince William: Baby airlifted by royal who braved security threat
Prince William braved a security threat in Northern Ireland to airlift a sick infant to safety. Us Weekly reports the child was brought to a hospital in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne for treatment. An active member of the Royal Air Force search and rescue squad, Will has become rather accustomed to saving the lives of young ones. Earlier this year, Wills rescued a teenager from drowning off the coast of Wales.
Will will soon have a baby of his own to tend to, as wife Kate Middleton is expecting a child in 2013. The pair are said to be skipping Queen Elizabeth II's holiday celebrations this time around, in favor of time at home with Kate's family.
