Modern Seinfeld Twitter feed: What if 'Seinfeld' was still on the air?
Find yourself wishing new episodes of "Seinfeld" were still on the air? What would George, Elaine, Jerry and Kramer think of all the newfangled pop culture trends and technological advances that have occurred since the sitcom went off the air in 1998? Enter Modern Seinfeld, a new Twitter account that sprung up on Sunday (Dec. 9).As of Monday afternoon, @SeinfeldToday has more than 62,000 followers and less than 50 tweets, each describing an episode of "Seinfeld" as if it was still on the air. @SeinfeldStories, which hasn't been updated since July, got there first, but Modern Seinfeld has a more pop culture-y bent.
Folding in things like Pinterest, GIFs and "Game of Thrones," the tweets truly read like modern-day episodes of the iconic show.
