Mayim Bialik gets check from 'The View' after being bashed for divorce

Mayim Bialik might have gotten some backlash from "The View" after she announced that she had filed for divorce from her husband, but she has revealed that she is the one who came out on top in that situation.

"I like that less than a week after The View bashed me and blamed me for my parenting choices causing my divorce, I got a residuals check for my appearance on their show from last year which was about my parenting book. Heehee," she posted to her Facebook page.

The "Big Bang Theory" star announced her divorce the week after Thanksgiving, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. She is asking for joint legal and physical custody for her two sons with husband, Michael Stone: Miles and Frederick.

"The main priority for us now is to make the transition to two loving homes as smooth and painless as possible," Bialik wrote in a blog post announcing the divorce. "Our sons deserve parents committed to their growth and health and that's what we are focusing on."
