Lindsay Lohan belatedly thanks Charlie Sheen for that $100,000

Lindsay Lohan has (finally) thanked Charlie Sheen for paying $100,000 of what she owes the IRS.

Sheen and Lohan became friends on the set of "Scary Movie 5," and when word got out that Lohan owed the tax man more than $230,000, Sheen wrote her a check for almost half the amount.

Earlier this week, though, Sheen griped that Lohan hadn't acknowledged his gift. "I'm still waiting for a text to say 'thank you,'" he said. "Anything, you know?"

Now, though, TMZ reports Lohan has sent flowers and a card to Sheen to say thanks. A source tells the site that Lohan lost all the contacts in her phone recently and was dealing with some other issues.

But hey, better late than never, right?
