Kristen Stewart loses Ben Affleck as a costar in 'Focus' - report

Has Kristen Stewart lost her esteemed "Focus" costar? According to new reports, Ben Affleck has dropped out of the sexy romcom.

Perez Hilton is reporting the casting news based on info from inside sources. Affleck allegedly "very much wanted to do the film, the timing just couldn't be worked out," the site's sources say. Hilton claims that Affleck's reasoning is a little more self-involved, because "now that ['Argo'] his a shoe-in for an Oscar nod, Ben thinks he too big for a romcom."

Whatever the reason behind it, it does seem like Affleck is out of the film, though Warner Bros. has yet to confirm the news. As "Focus" goes into production in April, there's still a good amount of time for a replacement for Affleck to be found. The movie follows Stewart as a fledgling con artist who teams up with a more experienced conman. Things quickly heat up between the two characters.
