Jon Bon Jovi 'ecstatic' over Golden Globe Award nomination
It's safe to say Jon Bon Jovi's having a stellar week. After performing with Bruce Springsteen at the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert on Wednesday, he woke up Thursday to the news that his song "Not Running Anymore" from the upcoming film "Stand Up Guys" had been nominated for a Golden Globe Award."Between last night, and then waking up to hear that the song [was nominated] -- it's great," he tells Access Hollywood. "I'm pleased. I'm ecstatic!"
The Best Original Song contender will compete against Adele's "Skyfall" from the Bond film of the same name, Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" from "The Hunger Games," Keith Urban's "For You" from "Act of Valor" and Claude Michael Schonberg's "Suddenly" from "Les Miserables."
"Stand Up Guys," starring Al Pacino, Alan Arkin and Christopher Walken, is scheduled to hit theaters Feb. 1.
