Hillary Clinton ill - Middle East trip canceled

Hillary Clinton has taken ill with a stomach virus and has canceled a scheduled trip to Morocco, where she was to have talks regarding the crisis in Syria.

Reuters reports Bill Burns, the Deputy Secretary of State, will go take part in the meeting in place of Mrs. Clinton.

The State Department issued a statement on Hillary's behalf. "Since she's still under the weather, we'll be staying put this week instead of heading to North Africa and the Middle East as originally planned," says a spokesperson.

After the Syria talks, Clinton was scheduled to travel from Morocco to Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.
