Buddy Guy feted by Beth Hart and Bonnie Raitt for 'Kennedy Center Honors'
One of those honored during the 'The 35th Annual Kennedy Center Honors' gala broadcast on CBS was blues genius Buddy Guy.
Guy received a national award for his lifetime contribution to the arts. During the program, Morgan Freeman introduced a montage of vintage interview clips and photos of the Chicago music legend.
Later, he was serenaded by Bonnie Raitt and Beth Hart, accompanied by Jeff Beck on guitar, as the group performed a rocking version of "Sweet Home Chicago."
The gala took place at the White House Dec. 2, 2012 and was broadcast Dec. 26.
