Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy secretly still together? - report

Ever since Taylor Swift's out-of-left-field breakup with Conor Kennedy, rumors have been swirling as to what's really going on behind the scenes.

While some cite Taylor's busy schedule, others claim Conor was freaked out by how fast his older girlfriend was moving. Many suspect Taylor is moving on with tour mate Ed Sheeran, yet some find it suspicious the country pop star never pulled out of plans to lay down stakes in a stone's throw of the Kennedy compound.

Now a rumor circulates that Taylor and Conor are -- gasp -- "faking" their breakup to get the high school senior's parents off his back. Showbiz Spy cites a source who says, "The family feared Taylor's jet-set lifestyle would divert his focus from education -- and were literally worried sick the couple might even elope."

The anonymous insider says Taylor and Conor are still in constant communication. "They just want everyone to forget about them," says the source. "Meanwhile, they're planning a secret romantic rendezvous as soon as Conor's on school break."

Now, this report can probably be taken with a grain of salt. However, it would make sense if you think about it. If Taylor and Conor want to give his parents some breathing room on their perhaps too-serious relationship, a few weeks when she is constantly traveling to promote her new album, "Red," would be the ideal time to do it.
