Selena Gomez all smiles at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards after Justin Bieber break-up

Selena Gomez isn't letting her recent break-up with Justin Bieber slow her down, and why should she? The 20-year-old pop star was honored as one of Glamour magazine's Women of the Year, and she was all smiles at the awards show Monday night (Nov. 12).

"I'm so honored to be in a room full of women I can only aspire to be as good as one day," Gomez said in her speech during the 2012 Women of the Year Awards in new York's Carnegie Hall (via People). "I feel so lucky that every day I get to work with interesting people that are way smarter than me and have taught me so much."

She continued, "I just want to share this with all the girls out there. You have a voice. You have a chance to just do what you love, whether that's acting or singing and just being true to who you are. And the person that's taught me that is my mom."

Also among the honorees were Lena Dunham, Annie Leibovitz and the "Fab Five" U.S. women's gymnastic team.

It's also worth noting for some of you out there that Bieber was across the East River performing in Brooklyn last night. Maybe he should take "Cry Me A River" off his set list, since it doesn't look like Gomez has been shedding any tears recently.
