Oprah Winfrey's Huffington Post OWN section launches today

Today is the day that Oprah Winfrey and Arianna Huffington have officially united forces.

We learned about the new HuffPo OWN section back in May, but the site finally launched Thursday (Nov. 1). Though it's on Huffington Post, the section will feature content from the Oprah Winfrey Network and Oprah.com and will focus on "lifestyle advice and personal inspiration," Associated Press reports.

"Understanding that we are all more powerful than we know -- that we are all connected to something bigger than ourselves -- is the real conversation I want to have. In many ways, it is the only conversation, I believe, truly worth having," Winfrey writes in a blog post on HuffPo OWN. "So let's continue this conversation together here at the OWN section of The Huffington Post."
