Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes could join TLC reunion tour as a hologram

The upcoming TLC reunion tour could bring the R&B band back together a decade after Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes was killed in a car accident. After the hologram technology used to have Tupac perform for audiences at Coachella this year, the surviving members of TLC are considering implementing the same tech to have Left Eye be a part of the tour.

"The hologram is something we talked about and thought about years ago. Obviously timing is everything, but we're definitely talking about it," Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas tells the U.K.'s Metro newspaper. "It will be hard on us, but I certainly think our fans would love to see it. I think we would probably pass out, and all of our fans would break down, but it's amazing how real the hologram looks. It's almost like you can touch the person."

Chilli and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins are currently working on a new album, and T-Boz has promised that the record is going to sound like "classic TLC." No word yet on when either the album or tour could happen, but it's intriguing and exciting that the hologram idea is even being considered.
