Kelsey Grammer fails to strap 4-month-old daughter into car seat
The father of the year award is definitely not going to Kelsey Grammer. The former "Boss" star has come under fire for being seen leaving Los Angeles Airport without strapping his 4-month-old daughter Faith into a car seat.
In California it's illegal to have a child under the age of 8 in a car without being buckled into a car or booster seat. Grammer and his wife Kayte were seen arriving at LAX and then leaving with Kayte holding Faith in her lap instead of strapping her into a car seat.
The representative for Grammer tells E! News that this is all one big misunderstanding. "Did the car drive a few yards without the car seat? Yes. At no time does the video show them leaving the airport with the baby not in the car seat," his rep says.
Meanwhile, Grammer's ex-wife Camille Grammer has nothing but negative things to say about her former husband's decision to irresponsibly care for his new daughter.
"I just think it's extremely irresponsible," she tells TMZ. "But hey, he's married to a European girl, maybe they're different in Europe. Maybe it's a European thing."
This isn't the only reckless adventure Faith has been on recently. Last month, Grammer brought the infant with him to the Playboy mansion Halloween party. He later sent TMZ a statement saying he only brought the baby with him because "we do not have a nanny or a trusted baby-sitter at this time." Maybe someone should have told him that his other option could have been to stay home?
