Kate Middleton and Prince William are trying to have a baby - report
A baby might not be on the way for Kate Middleton and Prince William just yet, but that doesn't mean the royal couple isn't trying. A source close to the Duchess of Cambridge says that Middleton and her husband feel like it's time to have their first child.
"They have been on such a high since getting married," the source tells Us Weekly. "It's time for the next step -- Kate is hoping she and William can become parents in 2013."
The insider continues, "They are working on it. In a dream situation, they'd love to be a step closer at Christmas."
Though Middleton and her prince have only been married since April 29, 2011, they have been dating for a decade. Us claims that William and Kate have been trying to have a baby since they returned from their royal tour of Asia and the Pacific Islands in September.
The royal couple has made no secret of its desire to have a new heir to the British throne. "I'm just very keen to have a family. Catherine and I are looking forward to [it]," Prince William told Katie Couric during an interview in May.
