Donald Trump has 'no regrets' over Twitter rant
Donald Trump, reality star, real estate mogul and loud-mouthed detractor of Barack Obama -- and a lot of other people, really -- went wild on Twitter when Obama won the 2012 presidential election.
Among other things, Trump's incendiary tweets called for followers to "march on Washington" and to "fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice."
When Brian Williams reported on the Twitter rant, with some choice words for Trump, The Donald went after the newsman with personal attacks, such as, "Brian--Thanks dummy--I picked up 70,000 twitter followers yesterday alone. Cable News just passed you in the ratings."
Trump now tells Bloomberg Businessweek, he stands by his tweets. "I have no regrets," he says, despite having deleted some of the controversial comments from his Twitter feed.
"I've been well-received," Trump continues. "I will have way over 2 million Twitter followers shortly." He's nearing 1.9 million followers now. And he's back to slamming Rosie O'Donnell.
