As the East Coast is recovering in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, NBC is trying to do something good. The network is holding a benefit concert Friday (Nov. 2) for the victims of the Frankenstorm featuring some pretty big names.

Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Christina Aguilera, Sting, Jimmy Fallon and more will all perform during the show, which will benefit the American Red Cross. NBC's "Today" host Matt Lauer will host the entire event. It will be broadcast on NBC and it's various cable stations: CNBC, USA, MSNBC and E!

It's worth noting that Springsteen and Bon Jovi are both from New Jersey while Joel is from Long Island; two areas that were hit pretty hard by the storm. In fact, Springsteen already thanked the first responders to Hurricane Sandy during his show Oct. 31 at the Rochester Blue Cross Arena. The event had been postponed a day due to the storm.

The benefit will be broadcast from Rockefeller Center in NYC. It will air at 8 p.m. ET and will be tape delayed for the west coast.
