'Boy Meets World': Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage respond to casting rumor (sort of)
Social media networks nearly imploded with the recent news that a "Boy Meets World" sequel series is in the works, and better yet, that The Disney Channel is looking to cast Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel in their original roles as Cory and Topanga.
Now, as an entire generation of TGIF viewers waits with baited breath, Fishel and Savage dangle the casting carrot with a teasy tweet.
Fishel took to Twitter to announce, "Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we've decided...Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!"
Since "Boy Meets World's" 2000 finale, Fishel has continued her acting career, but focused on hosting gigs. She was a correspondent for "The Tyra Banks Show" and hosted "The Dish" until 2011.
Savage has had guest roles on various episodic shows, such as "Bones" and "Without a Trace," in addition to some film roles.
