2012 'National Dog Show' winner is Sky the Wire Fox Terrier

Sky the Wire Fox Terrier is the overall winner of "The National Dog Show." This marks the second year in a row the title goes to this breed.

GCH Afterall Painting the Sky -- the canine's proper name -- won the Terrier Group, then beat out a Field Spaniel, a Bearded Collie, an American Foxhound, an Affenpinscher and a Great Dane for the overall title.

More than 1,500 pups competed.

Sky's handler, Gabriel Rangel of Rialto, Calif. tells NBC Sports of Sky, "She is a natural show dog with a short, well-balanced body. She has a beautiful head and her face is unbelievable."

The two-hour special will repeat Friday night (Nov. 23) on NBC.
