Tom Hanks does 'Full House'-themed slam poetry on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'

Tom Hanks continues to be an innovator in the field of movie promotion.

The man who took over a Univision morning show to hawk "Larry Crowne" has found a different way to raise awareness about his new film "Cloud Atlas": slam poetry.

Never mind that the piece he performed on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Tuesday (Oct. 23) had nothing to do with the movie. It was about "Full House," and more specifically the episode where the guys win tickets to a Beach Boys concert. Just hit play and revel in Hanks committing to the bit.

"Cloud Atlas," incidentally, hits theaters on Friday.
