Taylor Swift breakup with Conor Kennedy: She freaked him out

The reason behind Taylor Swift's abrupt split from Conor Kennedy may have less to do with promoting an album, and more to do with a Kennedy obsession, if Radar Online's sources are to be believed.

Conor, a high school senior, is reportedly freaked out by how strong the 22-year-old singer-songwriter came on. Swift is apparently looking for a soul mate, while Kennedy is just looking forward to graduating high school.

Things must have gotten a little too serious for Conor when Taylor decided to move in across the street.

"Taylor is obsessed with the Kennedys and was living out a fairytale with Conor," says the source. "But she was more obsessed with the idea of dating a Kennedy, than the actual Kennedy she was dating."

Since Swifty seems hellbent on becoming a Kennedy -- based on her romps with Patrick Schwarzenegger and the new digs in Hyannis Port -- perhaps she should look to some eligible bachelors who hang a little higher on the family tree. (They're perhaps a little more likely to want to settle down and start making more Kennedys.) Because when it comes down to it, doesn't Taylor Swift-Kennedy have a nice little ring to it?
