Ryan Gosling surprises kids at charity event for Texas School for the Deaf
Ryan Gosling sent young hearts racing when he showed up at a charity event for the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas. He and co-star Michael Fassbender took a break from filming the untitled Terrence Malick project to drop some dough and spark a Twitter frenzy among young event participants.Anne Adams, executive director of the school's charity foundation, told the Washington Post Gosling made quite an impact on the kids. "Ryan helped us out by paying $50 for a $1 glow in the dark cotton candy from a booth staffed by deaf children," says Adams. "It was very sweet."
Tweets from the event -- which featured a sunset "Spooky 5k" race -- included lots of omg's and plenty of caps lock.
Hey girl, philanthropy is so sexy.
